Founded FitnessFreedomAthletes.com 2018 – Present (a life-long interest & passion)
With a baby on the way, I decided it was time to go all in on a side business (and life-long interest & passion) that had grown over the years – Fitness FreedomAthletes “Helping busy professionals build lean muscle and transform their bodies from home with a suspension trainer, resistance band, and evergreen nutrition optimisation.”
A few stats I’m proud of…
- Grew it to over 8,000 members and 6 figures gross by EOP 2024
- Spent £80k on FB and YouTube ads with an ROAS of 3.2
- Grew a 30k email list sending over 1 million emails to date with a 2.1 ROAS, 3.9% CTR
- Grew a following of 100k+ across social media
- Crafted multiple social media ads, direct response creative, sales letters, lead magnets, landing pages, and digital assets.
- Invested in business, direct response marketing, and copywriting courses with entrepreneurs and industry leaders to expand my creativity across more disciplines.
- …failed a million times, and learned an insane amount about selling psychology and how every bit of creativity MUST work when your own money and financial stability are on the line.
However, falling into the role of ‘business owner’ with more admin and less creative is not what I seek. I wound down the business into automation ready to dive back into freelance.
